Obituary for Frances Smith
Frances Dowis Smith, 92, of Melbourne, passed away on June 5, 2012. She was born on February 21, 1920 in Spartanburg, SC to William and Pattie Dowis.
She is survived by her son Douglas P Smith of Apopka, FL; sisters Agnes McElrath of Spartanburg, SC; Martha Bray of Williamsburg, VA and Sara Prince of Spartanburg, VA; and brothers W.S Dowis, Jr. of Charlotte, NC and JR Dowis of Waleska, GA.
A memorial service will be held on June 9th at10 am at Beach Funeral Home, West Chapel, 4999 N. Wickham Rd, Melbourne, FL 32940
In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation in Frances's name to Wuesthoff Brevard Hospice House, 661 Eyster Blvd., Rockledge, FL 32955
