Obituary for Shirley Bryk

Shirley Bryk
Shirley Ann Bryk, 65 of Melbourne, FL, passed away on Friday, July 26, 2013. Shirley was born on June 17, 1948 in Mt. Holly, New Jersey to the late, James and Etta (Haines) Steward. She moved to Florida in 1995 having come from New Jersey.

Shirley worked in accounting for many years having worked for various casinos and later working in the tax service arena. She enjoyed reading, playing Sudoku and other such games. She was a dear friend to many and always had a listening ear and kind words of wisdom. Her moral compass never wavered and guided her to assist many through life’s difficult times.

She was preceded in death by a sister, Rae Silipino of Buffalo, Missouri.

Left behind to mourn her loss is her devoted husband Henry, having been together for 33 years; a son, George and Sherry Jones III, of Sumter, SC; stepchildren, Henry and Dee Bryk III, of Northfield, New Jersey, Alexandria and Darren Fenski, of Northfield, New Jersey; five grandchildren: Kyrie, Robert, Joshua, Matthew and Geoffrey; one great grandchild, Caleb; and five sisters: Ruth, Linda, Robin, Ida and Marie. Shirley will be missed dearly.

A Mass will be celebrated on Friday, August 2, 2013 at 10:00 at St. John the Evangelist Church in Viera.
