Why Pre-Arrange?

Everyone is aware of the value of being prepared. Do you know how to start? When possible, important decisions should not be made at a highly emotional time. Rather, these decisions should be made when one can think clearly. The true value of this approach will be realized by loved ones who follow the plan left for them. In today's world, families are more separated than ever before. All the more reason to be prepared.

Guarantees

Pre-payment is an option but not a requirement of our program. Simply stating your wishes and having us put them on file goes a long way to easing a family's anguish. Pre-payment does have its advantages, however. Prices become frozen and will never increase - regardless of how long it is before they are needed. Your family benefits from having a plan in place that is not only clearly stated but that is also already paid for.

Homesteaders Life Company

For your protection, all funds set aside are held by a third party. Primarily, we use Homesteaders Life Company as our funding agent. At death, funds are released to the funeral home relieving the family of business responsibilities at this difficult time. In addition, since Homesteaders Life Company is a Nation Wide corporation, your arrangement can be transferred to another funeral home, anywhere in the country, should you move.

Payment Plans

With a pre-arrangement, payment plans can be established allowing families to pay over time and eliminate the need for a large cash outlay.

Life Insurance

Regular life insurance is not a competitor of pre-arranged funerals. It is complimentary. Usually, life insurance is intended to pay final expenses and provide living expenses for the family. If your arrangement has been pre-paid, 100% of the proceeds from life insurance can be used for living expenses. That means a lot to families, especially if income has been reduced.

Cemeteries

We can assist with any cemetery, local or out of area. If one is a veteran and eligible for a national cemetery, Arlington, Florida National, or any other National cemetery can be integrated into your plan as well.
